BA Carry-on Requirements and Boarding Order
Carry-on limits: two bags on board including a rollaboard or similar and a personal item:
- One larger bag 22 x 18 x 10 (56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm) including handles, pockets, and wheels, weighing up to 51 lb (23 kg).
- One smaller bag up to 16 x 12 6 (40 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm), tagged with a yellow tag to indicate the bag complies for the gate agent; it is expected that bag will be placed under the seat in fromt of you. continue to bring two bags on board including a roll aboard and a personal bag. The size of the larger bag remains unchanged at 22 x 18 x 10 (56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm) including handles, pockets, and wheels, and it cannot weigh more than 51 pounds (23 kilograms).
The smaller bag may not exceed 16 x 12 6 (40 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm). All passengers except those in First and Club World will need to obtain a yellow tag for the smaller bag prior to boarding that indicates to the gate agent that the bag complies with the new size regulations. First and Club World passengers do not require such a tag.
Boarding order:
- Order by cabin class, e.g. First, Club, World Traveller Plus and finally World or Euro Traveller.
- Order of elite status BAEC and possibly by oneworld status.
- Order of seat row.
NOTE: In fact, gate agents pre-board those with disabilities and needing extra time, followed by families with small children - and then by the order they actually choose to use.

Given the joint venture, it's important to be aware of new rules on the BA side of things.

BA Implements New Boarding Procedures, Reduces Size of Carry-On Bags
British Airways announced a new procedure for boarding as well as a reduction in the size of hand baggage that can be brought onto the aircraft.
The most significant change is to the order of in which passengers will board.
Effective immediately, passengers will board based on two criteria: first, based on the cabin in which they are traveling, such as first or business, and then in order of Executive Club status....

BA's e-mail was silent on that as is its website. It may end up being that some gate agents honor the status and some do not based on my own past experience in seeing how this plays out within OW.
