Agents confused me about the fee of $150 when chainging flights
Outbound on Alaska to HNL then QF to SYD
Return is the issue: QF to LAX arrive at 6:30am then AS (Alaska) to SJC via Portland arriving at SJC by 6:30pm - this is for Feb 2016 They have direct AA flights to SJC but none is available currently - I get told there is no fee to change it to AA (LAX -> SJC) since AS is still in my itn on my way out; I was also told there is a fee because I am changing the carrier - which is correct? Update: Award ticket |
This is an award, right? And you're changing a flight from a non-oneworld partner to AA / a oneworld carrier? There may well be a redeposit fee to issue a new award.

I was told AS is non-oneworld |
AS is not OW.

See the discussion in this thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/ameri...d-booking.html
Short version is redeposit fee applies due to changing from non-OW to OW. |
