ORD Admiral's Club-Smoking Room?

Do they still have the smoking lounge there? I haven't been there for 3 months and am always worried that it will/may disappear.

The AC between terminals H and K still has a smoking lounge. The AC in terminal G does not have a smoking lounge.

I think the AC in terminal G is now office space for AA, isn't it?

The smaller AC at ORD is open again, there are now two, big one with smoking lounge at gates H and K and a smaller one at G. The smaller one doesnt serve alcohol though, not sure if this is only later in the evenings or all the time, but we had to buy a few coronas from the bar/restaurant opposite. The lounge staff advised us to do this, BTW.

The lovely smoking room at ORD is the reason I've started routing almost all my transatlantic flights via there. My only gripe is that they don't call the flights in there, but I guess that's why I have a watch.

BTW - though this is my first post I've lurked on flyertalk for some time. Thanks to all for a wealth of invaluable information.

That's the never-opened AC in concourse L you're thinking of. In concourse G, the small AC (now an AC "Service Center") has been open for a few years now.

I was thinking of the G concourse AC that was the real deal (no smoking though) last year and earlier this year, but was closed the last time I transited through G.

Over at L, for the next 6 months I still have the CRC for unlimited free drinks and then it's back to the AC at H/K where the free drinks are doled out one or two chits at a time...

Thanks Folks! Glad it's still in service. Actually, it is one of the nicer ones that I have been to in the US.

I'm sitting outside of it right now. There is a large-screen TV (with Direct-TV tuner) inside the lounge so that the smokers don't have to exit to watch CNN or whatever.
