Question about flexibility of Discount Code

I didn't see this question posed anywhere, but I have a $350.00 discount code because of travel credit expiration. I was wondering, can I still make flight changes to a flight that I purchase with the $350.00 code, or is that not allowed? I am pretty certain I wouldn't be able to cancel and take wallet credit for a more unspecified flight in the future, but would Alaska allow me to just change my flight that I purchased and pay any difference if the new flight costs more or eat the difference if the new flight is cheaper?

Yes, no problem at all.

Just change your flight rather to preserve the credit, rather than cancel it.

I have noticed I usually have to call reservations to make changes to reservations with discount codes.

Thanks, that is what it seems like in the T&Cs!

Oh no, sorry for the confusion, it is already a discount code, a misunderstanding on the expiration date of the travel credit caused me to not use it in time.
