Pricing from PDX-BZN
Not flown Alaska before but planning to visit Yellowstone at the end of next September after 5 days in Portland.
There is a huge jump in prices from Sep 14.
Does anyone know why?!
Edit: I've just noticed it's the same from SEA.

Both flights, however, have U2 available and K class is eligible for upgrade if you have GGUs.

Both flights are on an Embraer E175 Regional Jet. Very comfortable and with a 2-2 configuration in Y, every seat is either a window or an isle.

Cash fares from PDX - BZN are rarely cheap. I would say $100 each way would be about as low as it will go. More likely $125. If you have Alaska Airlines miles or Avios, this could be a great opportunity for finding saver space and using miles. PDX - BZN can go as low as 5K miles each way using Alaska miles, and I believe 7.5K avios in each direction. You mentioned you fly BA, if you have Avios, I would suggest this is probably a decent time to use them, I believe you may have to call BA to book. There is currently not low mileage award space on the date you are looking at, though I would guess it is very likely it will open up. Enjoy your trip.

SEA-BZN is consistently on sale for $69 saver and $89 main cabin, PDX-BZN is usually similar. I expect those sale prices will be extended to the end of the month of September over the next 2 weeks, as others say, those low cost fare buckets arent open yet and this is fairly common with Alaska Airlines flights that are out near the end of schedule.
First class can be a real bargain on this route, and the 1-2 seating is nice. We snagged flights for $125 each way in F for a long weekend later this winter.

as others have sais..these just got loaded...give it time to price adjust.
In mid sept you have flight changes where it isnt as frequent as in August.
Also for your visit pay attention to yellowstone road closures that would occur in sept/ in 2020 Tower-Canyon will be closed. Others could be closed for road work too.
Also look at airfare+car rental costs between BZN and other montana airports like Billings or Helena.
