Every time Alaska does a double-miles promo, someone makes a comment that it is only outbound and it never ends up being the case. Notable cases in the past that I can remember off the top of my head:
- DEQM to DTW. Ad stated that the promo was for SEA-DTW. It posted for both directions.
- "Ski the west" promo. Stated that you had to fly to a ski town 2x. I flew from GEG-LAX, got the bonus.
- When FI became a partner again, they had a promo to "Fly to Reykjavik". I flew KEF-SEA. Got the bonus.
In the past, twitter agents have answered that it was only oneway because they either don't know, or wanted to be safe (better to say "no" and have it credit anyway than v.v.)

I read it as TO FRA only as well. I have an award ticket booked on DE through FRA to OLB in September, returning October from NAP via FRA on a paid premium economy. I signed up just in case, but i'm not expecting it.
