how to use Alaska Airline miles to book Korean Airline?
I know Korean Airline has non-stop flight from ATL->ICN .
But when I search ATL->ICN at Alaska Airline website, the search results do not include Korean Airline? How to use Alaska Airline miles on Korean Airline? Do I need to call? Thanks. |
There's a recent thread that discusses Korean Air award space if you bothered to search.

Same page just a few posts down
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/alask...ilability.html Its lack of space that's the issue |
I'd really avoid this if you can. Korean air has the worst redemption rates of pretty much any Alaska Airlines partner. You can only book their full rates which are just onerous in terms of the amount of miles needed.

I don't know - I "had" to fly to Japan earlier this year and Korean was about the same redemption cost as DL for MUCH better food and service. |

Best to let them know early, so they actually know what to do from now on. ;)

We could let the new posters know about the rules, too. Here's a really good one...

Why not take CX? Better rate, better seat and probably better service (slightly debatable for service)
