The SEA N lounge was a ghost town last night at 9 P. I have never seen it that empty.

My wife and I are in the ANC pop-up lounge at the moment ahead of flying up to FAI.
Cant really add a lot to what BOB W said but I did take a few photos.
There is a barista bar but they only have drip coffee - they dont have a machine to do espresso, flat whites etc.
No alcohol as their permit wasnt approved.
They are meant to be back in the expanded lounge mid-February. Apparently construction is taking place around the clock.
Restrooms are along the upper-level corridor past the TSA office and the Alaska lounge.

Ground floor signage.

Mezzanine level signage.

Entrance to the pop-up lounge.

Barista bar, but no coffee machine.

Fridges with snacks and beverages.

Cinema style seating.

Cafeteria style tables and chairs.

Pop-up marketing for the new lounge.
All in all, its not bad and better than nothing for a temporary lounge while they finish renovating and expanding their permanent lounge. Staff were chatty and friendly and had no issues with me taking photos!

Access report. Went into two of the SEA lounges today -- 75K and MVP traveling to LIR (Costa Rica) on upgraded tickets. AS computers don't seem to be aware yet of Alaska flights to Costa Rica being international. Should get access as Emerald/Sapphire when traveling outside of US, CAN, MEX, but D lounge wouldn't let me in... Had extra time and asked at the C lounge, they agreed with my interpretation and let me in... Even weirder the MVP boarding pass scanned as accepted so who knows what was going on there... Had only been handing them mine on what I thought was a good assumption was that would be the one that worked.
Beyond that C lounge was a nice stop and good to walk some stairs pre-flight.

Hadn't ever had an issue buying a day pass at JFK but I guess with three Alaska flights all leaving around the same time today they are "full" and not selling passes.
Had I known we would have just had lunch and beverages pre security instead of being stranded at this terrible terminal.

Wouldn't the flight > 2,000 miles get you in or no since it was upgraded?
If the computer accepted it, it might just be the agent didn't try and inadequate training.
Yes oneworld rules should apply, but technically they don't have to apply on your issuing carrier. This is why AS can get into some AA first class lounges on international when AA oneworld can't get in their own lounge.

In lounge related hiring, AS is looking for a Director Lounge Operations to oversee both AS and HA branded lounges throughout the system.

ANC Lounge is indeed open as of 2/5. It is a larger space. They had tacos/fajitas when I stopped in yesterday.
The food was an improvement over what they have had previously. There is more space and a second coffee/tea station.
