Priority Pass Question [guesting without using own Priority Pass card]
I have lounge access to a 3rd party lounge via my airline however my friend does not. Can I use my Priority Pass to get her into the lounge (this lounge also allows priority pass access) even if I am not entering with it?

Technically/officially no. But if you were to enter with your friend have a drink with them and then you head to the airline lounge before "returning to pickup your friend" I highly doubt anyone would notice.

I'm guessing that would work but I'm not sure (someone else can probably tell you). Does your priority pass membership charge you an entry fee for each visit or limit your number of free visits? If not, the simplest thing is to use that for your own entry (even though you have airline access) and for your guest.

This thread is quite similar, though there is a key difference, namely in the above scenario the host cardholder could be present, whereas in this thread the implication is that the cardholder would be elsewhere:
https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/airp...g-present.html My view is that you would at least need to enter with the guest, whether you stayed there for long would not be an issue, so you could leave for the other lounge, but it does sound rather anti-social. |

Rereading the OP this seems correct. I had this situation a few years ago at LGW when BA was remodeling their lounge & was using the No. 1 lounge (where you still had to pay for "champagne"). I had access via my J ticket but my friend in Y did not. I presented my BP and since BA was using the lounge and was such a large carrier they were restricting PP members but since he was with me as a J passenger the Lounge lady was nice enough to let us both in and charge my account just for one person also which was doubly nice. But if the lounge is restricting access it may be good to enter also under the J ticket.

It sounds different actually. The OP seems to have access to the third-party lounge through an airline, and wants to guest someone else into the same third-party lounge using PP. I agree with the above poster who questions why not just use PP for both?
