Trying to plan a surprise visit for my niece and nephew.

At least Good Friday through Easter Monday. Maybe Easter Tuesday.

As per usual NZ has good availability for award seats, and AC has next to nothing.

Change of plans for Airbus deliveries - "ZK-OJJ" which was scheduled for delivery to NZ in March 2005 was sold right off the production line to SAAD in Dubai. A new 320 has been added to the back of NZs order.

Current data shows the delivery to Freedom Air of their first A320 ZK-OJK in AKL on June 4 at 5:50pm. With ZK-OJL arriving in August, ZK-OJM arriving in October and ZK-OJK arriving in December

Air Nelson take delivery of their first DHC 8-315 registered as ZK-NEA in July 2005 and every six weeks thereafter.

My pick is either the AKL - SIN or AKL - HKG run [after the tasman "trainers"].

As posted by mad_atta, here, expected announcement 24 Feb 05 including new routes and more info on the new long haul product.

Thanks, Kiwi Flyer. BTW, the 777 has been loaded into the schedule for AKL-SFO from 30th October onwards. The trans-Tasman training runs are not showing up yet, but presumably they will be during October. Sounds like Sydney might miss out :( - I think it's going to be AKL-BNE and AKL-MEL.

Rats - 777 is later Sept than I was hoping. Oh well never mind.

As far as I know the 777 has been scheduled for delivery on the 28th of September since I originally posted #20 back on January 19. Entry into long haul service of the 777 is still slanted for the end of October.
