When LH introduced its intra-European "seat only" fare it was done rather clumsily: unless you booked through LH's website, there was no clear indication that some LH fares included zero checked bags.

I caught it before my first flight and added a bag manually through LH"s site. Luckily they honoured the +1 *G baggage for free.

Good call... I had. Although AKL-PER as "long" haul? I suppose it could be seen as such...

Air NZ count Perth as medium haul:

This type of upgrade doesn't apply to medium haul flights to Perth, Honolulu and Bali or between Sydney and Rarotonga.
