Priority boarding on small planes?

I'll be flying on a Air Canada Jazz CRJ from YVR to YZF. Do they offer priority boarding to Elite on such a small plane?

A CRJ isn't that small.

And yes, they will.

I can't remember the last time they did not do the priority boarding on a flight I was on.

I've had a couple in recent months where Star Golds, SEs Es announcement was missing. Seems they just forget--not important enough I guess:confused:

I do recall a couple of years ago when Jazz regularly did NOT do this announcement. This seems to have changed and this is now a regular (but not foolproof) announcement.

I always find it funny when the gate agent gets confused as to which side is priority and which one is not and they run over to the sign and flip it around..:)...

I guess I've been lucky with my flights. Now watch, this afternoon they'll forget the priority boarding on my flight. :o:o

As others have alluded... YMMV.

Is this eluding the Priority line that you're alluding to? ;)

And Jazz always seems to call for Elites and *Gs first, even for Dash 8s, although not by row #. I prefer to wait till lastto see if there are any empty rows.

I boarded UA flights in YVR and DEN this week and was interested to see that they boarded their own status pax first, then called for *G pax. Have we been reduced to second tier?

It's been awhile since I flew UA metal. Did they get rid of the zones?

They still have the zones but there are 2 boarding group before the zones start now. The first one is for 1k, GS, F and J passengers who are allowed to board on the red carpet. The second group is PE, P, *G and I believe *S as well. If this group dares to step on the red carpet they are treated like lepers.

Premier Exec or Punished Edmontonian? :p

Thanks, good to know. It's certainly been awhile.
