I would love to crap on the airline just for the sport, but here's a little tip that ANYbody with ANY travel experience, let alone a Frequent Flyer would know, and that is if you have ANY important reason to be somewhere (business meeting or whatever), you NEVER book the last connection that will get you there -- always allow at least a Plan B AND a Plan C (i.e. TWO later trips that will still make your event) and you NEVER book the last trip of the day, AND AND AND, you double those requirements in the winter. Yeah, it sucks, but every one day business trip is three days away -- get used to it!
