Way back when, BB (bless his heart) provided me with this CIC...

..... which I have kept with me when travelling. It wont apply to anyone going to CDG, but I wonder if it is still an AC policy.

CIC*108/16
Eligible customers making connections:
Eligible Star Alliance customers travelling internationally (Transat, Transpac, Intercontinental) on a Star Alliance flight will have access to Star Alliance lounges at point of origin and all connection points provided segment to be flown is on a Star Alliance carrier. Additionally, Star Alliance Gold members can access Star Alliance lounges when connecting to a Non-Star airline if a Star carrier does not provide air transportation to the customer's next destination.

I have had to invoke the concierge to get this benefit. Most recent was about 1-2 years ago in Hong Kong. SQ wouldn't let me in the SQ lounge and TG wasn't going to either. Concierge acknowledged the rule and got TG to let me in.

Bumping a not-so-old thread.

If a SE were to travel ARN-CPH-BSL, with the last leg on an SK flight number operated by Cimber Air, would the SE be given lounge access in CPH (disregarding the logistics of terminal changes etc.)?

What about a first class ticket on UA or another Star Alliance carrier? I was denied MLL admission at T2 once with a first class BP.
