Compensation

Does AC offer compensation over the phone or do you have to complaint in writing? I had a flight that was delayed for a few hrs  YYZ-YUL I called for compensation and they told me I had to e-mail or fax.
Thank you in advance

You will have to write into Customer Solutions.

Usually delays under 3 hours are not compensated. Why was the flight delayed?

Probably so; on rapidair flts they priority w/l pax from cancelled flts until they do get on a flt. Sometimes it takes 2 or three or even more flts to get them all on. Just saw it happen in YUL on Sunday. And first on the list are those with cnx in YYZ in this case.
