EVA availability glitch

Hey guys,

Not sure if anyone saw a bunch of EVA seats released on Aeroplan today. It still shows available on Expertflyer but they stopped being bookable a few minutes ago as I am about to finish booking my return trip. Did someone at EVA screwed up and released a bunch of seats by accident?

I saw them release in the morning and called 3 hours ago to book. The agent is able to see them, but all the ones we tried errored out. The manager also tried but ran into the same error. Looks like Eva's system is having issues or the ones I tried are phantom spaces.

I was actually able to book a seat on SIN > TPE > YYZ for Dec, all on EVA. I saw a number of available seats and booked it on the AC website around 8pm EST. Took a couple of tries but eventually I got a booking confirmation.

Did you try booking it via the app? Seems like people have had success through that channel

Okay, it definitely looks like Eva just pulled the plug. We were seeing 6 J availabilities every day from July to Next March, but those are all gone now. There was a period between around 5:30 PM PST to ~7 PM PST where the flights still appeared on Aeroplan/United/Lifemiles but we were unable to book even over the phone with Aeroplan. But as OP said, those are not even showing up anymore.

I also saw YVR to NRT on Aeroplan with EVA. They were 75k each, but checked again later, wasn't there. Thought they were sold out or something.

The first post provided very limited info on what was available for booking. No dates no routing, worthless.

Looks like they did. Yesterday there was WAY more space and today it essentially all got pulled. Congrats to those who booked last night!

Looks like this must've been a mistake.

Thought it was pretty strange at the time, did some searches and award availability was wide open to all/most US/CAN destinations. There were days with 8! seats in J.

Wonder if AC/AP award booking being broken most of yesterday was related to this, or just bad luck that awards broke when these seats were available.

It might have been an inadvertent release by EVA air, which they released and blocked it all off today.

I had trouble with AP redemption searches yesterday, many times it just hung there with a circle. Maybe it was related to this.

Pretty much all routes and most dates were available for about 12 hrs yesterday.

I booked a few tickets tpe-ord and jfk-dps//mnl-jfk. First with AC and the latter with Avianca.

Oh man..... I was on my phone in the evening and I noticed flights available from SGN to YWG ......so I then looked at HAN for the same route. I was so excited and thought I was so lucky. I told my wife and then went back in and everything was gone! I had not looked during the day so thought I missed out because I wasn't paying attention all day! Been steaming about it all day.............until I read this. It sounds like they were available for 12 hours - I literally must have been checking right at the bitter end of the evening.

YYZ to TPE Business is available on March 23 on Aeroplan. EVA flight leaves in the wee hours.
