AC Signature Suites - information & experiences (2022 onwards)

At last.

The "temporarily closed" banner on the YYZ SS webpage has been removed.

The menu also appears to have been updated.

Is anyone able to confirm hours of operation?

Great news. I’d love to see menus if anyone has access to them?

I don't know if I navigate differently from other people or what, but I have a really hard time finding the SS page to begin with.

We will arrive from YOW at 17:05 with a 1h 20 minute connection to AC886 to VIE at 18: 25. How long is the walk to the SS and will we have time for something to eat ?

SS is probably only a 5 to 7 minute walk at most to any AC int'l widebody flight, and unlike domestic MLL, no risk of elevator delay since there is a manual override (i e. stairs) right nearby.
plenty of time to stop at SS for a couple drinks and appetizers off the buffet.

Ordering an entree from the menu or restaurant portion is likely better for a 2+ hour connection.

While technically enough time I’d personally get on an earlier flight from YOW to enjoy fully. Should be able to standby without issue if you cannot confirm a same day change.

Thanks for the quick replies. Arriving earlier was the original plan, until AC dropped all the earlier flights - the only earlier flight from YOW now is at 10:00am, arriving at 11:05! Things are still far from normal, it seems.

Glad to see that the burger is still there.

Just booked a reward ticket for an upcoming transatlantic. Flexible was only about 8k miles more so well worth it for this!

Anyone been there in the last day or so?

That is unfortunate, but I’d personally be spending the whole day in the lounge.

A fine meal and cocktails is nice, but it would be a stretch to enjoy that as an all day event, at least for me. Obviously, different strokes for different folks so to each their own.

Now if they had a full service spa...or if they had complimentary cigars, a fine selection of scotch, and sport on the tele (ala LH FCT), now we're talking... :D

I've done 6 hours there, and that was too much. So that was probably a 7 hour connection.

2 to 2.5 in the SS would be my preference, but it also depends on time of day. My goal is usually to get a nice dinner in before a red-eye, so if I'm flying out at a time of day where I don't want dinner, I don't need as long.
