Using Air Canada eCoupon for Award Ticket
I have an Air Canada eCoupon form the flight pass class action lawsuit which was issued back in 2019. Are you able to use those for award tickets? I tried and it didn't work but I don't know if the ecoupon is expired.

You can check the balance using the form on this AC page, but eCoupons I've received for other things always had a 1 year expiry noted in the email it comes with. YMMV. Or you can call Aeroplan about use or AC to see if it's expired if the form doesn't give you the info you need. Click the eCoupons tab for all the rules & regs https://www.aircanada.com/ca/en/aco/home/fly/customer-support/travel-vouchers.html#:~:text=Once%20you%20receive%20your% 20Air,of%20your%20voucher%20to%20appear. . |

Award bookings only give the option to enter a Gift Card, whereas Revenue bookings give the option for Gift Card, Travel Voucher or eCoupon. You should also confirm that the eCoupon isn't expired - which you can do by going to the link provided and clicking on the eCoupon tab. |
I'm given an option to receive e-transfer vs eCoupon(larger amount), from my recent flight delay claim
does anyone know if this eCoupon can be used by another person ? (a direct family has plan to book a flight in the near future) |

Can I transfer eCoupon to somebody else?
I’m a long time lurker who has learned a lot from FlyerTalk. I finally joined so I can ask this question. This is an old thread, but the title fits.
I have an eCoupon for $500 CAD good until June 2026. I don’t expect to ever use it, but I hate to see it just expire. Can I transfer it, legally and properly, to a charitable organization or another traveler for their own use? What else might I do with it, but without me flying on Air Canada again? |

As this is your first post, welcome, officially, to FT. The only restriction I can see is that you can't sell it. And thanks for the post. Prompted me to go through my records and discover several hundred dollars worth of my own that had slipped through the cracks. |
Thanks to both of you. I will look into donating to a Canadian charity.

E-Coupon
I received an e-coupon of $200 due to flight delay, I already used $150 for my own ticket. Can I use the remaining balance of $50 e-coupon to pay portion of ticket for my relative? Thanks! |

I know that we are only allow to use 2 forms of payment to pay Air Canada ticket (i.e. credit card and AC gift card).
After completing to pay a ticket by using 2 forms of payment, can I do a separate transaction to use another 2 forms of payment for advance seat selection (i.e. credit card and e-coupon)? Thanks! |
