For those of us who are interested in attending this ... can we nail down a date?

It would be cool if we could also pick a common hotel for the out-of-towners.
@canopus27

@expert7700 and I were discussing dates and hotels during our AC 101 Kit Kat Do at FL360.
I like May 11/12 as well.

I agree that it would be nice to nail down a date so we can commit to it.

Agreed, although I expect it will be difficult to accommodate different tastes and budgets...

For the YYJ do in May 2017 and the YQB Do, Sept 2018, we posted in the wiki, a list of hotels, maybe price points, locations minor descriptions and then attendees could then choose.

Also, at the YYC Do, the hosts for LAS and I were talking about activities like we organized in YQB. A few of us would really like to go see the Hoover Dam. Perhaps a mii-bus could be arranged.

Anyway, we had a few fun idea and we welcome suggestions from everyone.

That's okay, I'm sure the vast majority of us attending the Do will have no connection with AAC, so I'm sure you'll fit right in

Besides eating, drinking, and gambling, our family and friends have enjoyed Hoover Dam, Atomic testing museum, Historic railroad tunnel hike, Pinball Hall of Fame, Neon Museum downtown, High Roller observation wheel. Plus of course all other ideas that folks have. We'll do some voting or wiki to note interest closer to the DO.

Once we post dates we can help post a few hotel ideas, on vs off strip, with walking times or uber costs. Often there is a choice of strip megaresort, off strip quiet locals hotel/casino, or even a new chain hotel for $75+ a night. Or the high roller suites for $5k a night.

I think anyone who is AC E75 or SE100K qualifies for a Caesars VIP card. (invaluable...or unvaluable... opinions vary)

My wife and I arranged a trip for 31 people about 12yrs ago, all had a blast, everyone (narrowly) survived and nobody missed the flight back. Best takeaway was to just post a where a few people will be eating or doing an activity and those who show up show up. Any stragglers are assumed to be on a hot streak gambling, in jail, at a brothel, or at Church.

Organizers, any update on this? Some of us have other plans that are cropping up and can't hold them off forever...

How about this ... if you're not yet willing to publicly commit to which weekend in May it might be, can we know if there are any weekends in May it will definitely NOT be?

Definitely won't be
May 11-13 (travel committment)
May 17-19 (Electric Daisy Carnival, crowds and hotel prices are crazy)

I listed the other weekends in a wiki above post #1 . Please post schedule conflicts in wiki--to help keep pages of replies from cluttering the main thread.
