transferring eupgrades
My husband is super elite and we are traveling together on same reservation. He has 30 eupgrades I have 20 eupgrades. Our flight requires 21 upgrades each, can he transfer one to me so I'd have the required 21?

I only answered your question directly without offering any other options.
Please refer above to the suggestion by 24left

But since your husband has 30 and you have 20 and you both each need 21, I'm not sure if applying your booking as his nominee takes partial credits... IIRC, it takes the full count of eUpgrade credits meaning it would remove 21 from your husband's account instead of 20 from yours and then 1 from your husband's... The last time a nominee used my eUpgrade credits was many years ago so someone else might have more up to date info if this has changed or I misremembered.

Welcome to FT!
YEG_SE4Life's concierge suggestion is the best one, probably.
yyznomad, when you nominate someone and upgrade them, all of the credits come out of your account, there's no partial deduction or anything - your initial post was the most correct. The only way something can be done here is if the concierge manages to work a favour for the OP to effectively transfer a credit.
Although given the news in the other thread that they've shut down the ability to borrow eUps when about to cross a threshold, I'm not sure whether AC is in a mood to be flexible with eUps.
