YOW mini-do July 30
With all the discussions surrounding mini-dos, we seem to never get any love in YOW. Therefore, I thought that this would be an opportune time to see if there is any interest to have one here on a Monday or Tuesday after work either Tuesday, July 24, Monday, July 30, Tuesday, July 31 or Tuesday, August 7.

All those dates are also good for me (except July 30th). I also work across the river, but Ottawa (free street meter after 17h30...) is good for me too.

That's great news - so let us meet at Side door restaurant (happy hour 4:30pm until 6:30pm) on Tuesday, July 31 at 5:15pm. I will attempt to arrive for 5pm to ensure we get a spot on the patio (weather permitting) or would you prefer to sit inside? YUL, if you park your car on the street around 5pm, it will only cost $1.25 since as you already mentioned the street parking is free after 5pm.

It is probably more accurate to say that a do, in the context of this forum, is a gathering of FTers and their guests. Depending on your definition of FFer, there will likely be a mix of FFers and non-FFers. Most (not necessarily the guests) will have a fascination with flying and a curiosity or knowledge about the inner workings of AC.
It is safe to say that, at every do I have attended, there have been folks who, by anyone's definition, would be considered FFers.

It looks like the YOW mini-do is "picking up some steam", with 2 more interested FTers, so to accommodate Antonio and any new interest in the future, let us tentatively set the date for the mini-do for either July 24 & 30. Date will be confirmed a couple of weeks prior.
