Don't know if I was targeted (probably but it says Altitude members)--I would never do this given the issues with using gift cards and I never have an AQM issue anyways.

Probably would have been better to run this promotion to have it count for 2018 status, that way people who are short a few miles could just "buy up" some AQM.
I dunno what i'm going to be flying next year, so I don't think I'll partake in this one.

I got it in the Altitude Report. Since it can't be used to buy FP, I don't have a use for it, myself.
Re: post # 3, I select AQM for qualifying FP purchase, I have nudged AQM over the line with a Dec FP purchase that otherwise would have waited until January.

Received it in my Altitude Report as well. I guess there is a delay in sending these out.

How do you enter your Aeroplan # for this to make sure you get credited? Or do they just do it via e-mail address?

I am assuming 2019 is a typo by AC and the AQM will go towards next year's qualification (2018).

Keep in mind in 2018 you're qualifying for 2019 status.

I bought a $2000 gift card. I still have not received the 2019 AQM. I contacted SE customer service who responded they have no record of this promotion.

Hopefully you got to use the gift card! I would direct them to this page if you have no other documentation of the promo. Maybe someone else still has the Altitude report that applies.

I received the promo directly by email, not sure if I was targeted for not.
Actually thanks to your original post I was able to track down the Altitude report edition that shows the promotion and have just sent it to AC. Will see what they say.
