@sameruval
I've flown in 1A, 1D and 1K on all of the 777 and 787 variants and and my experiences were:
1. It depends on the crew. I've posted in the past that on more than too many 14hour TPACs', some crews slam doors, bang carts and such. I've also seen group gatherings of crews in both the front and mid-galleys. You'd think it was TV show audience. And I've had many other flights where you'd never hear a peep.

2. It depends on the time of day and the route. Some pax can't sleep and so I find there can be a lot of traffic to and from the front galley and lav area.

3. There may potentially be a baby in the bassinet in front of 1D/G. Or elsewhere in the cabin. I never assume the baby will be making any noise as I've flown for years in AC J on long-hauls with babies who never cried and were better behaved than some adults.

Some people are more sensitive to light or noise and others are not. My view is always best to prepare where possible (headphones, eye shades, etc)
.

1A/K aren’t near lavs, so you don’t need to worry about flushing noises or lots of passengers coming and going.

If you want to sleep on the flight, you may do better in the middle of the cabin. If sleep isn’t a concern, you’ll be fine. What bothers me most about the front and back rows is light when the curtain gets pulled back. Sometimes closets slamming and flight attendants chatting can be annoying as well.

What's the general consensus on window exit row seating on the 787/777/330 and the exit row slide getting in your way? I haven't flown them in a while, and I vaguely remember the exit row slide + escape hatch (I'm assuming) jet out into your leg space.

Which aircraft has this, and in your opinion, would you just take the aisle seat preferred?

I can only speak to 777/787, and I can't remember which specifically as I've been on both recently but I think this is true for both. The slide does protrude from the wall a bit (guessing maybe 20ish cm?), but it is far enough away that I can still stretch out my leg a bit before my foot hits the slide. The aisle is nice because there is essentially unlimited legroom, but it is annoying during loading as luggage keeps hitting your knees.

Can anyone comment on seat alignment of 1A/1K on the 777/787s? I recently took the WS 787s in seat 1K on two diff aircrafts and both of them did not account for the fuselage tapering inwards so the seat is not angled nicely with the footwell so my right foot was just jamming into the walls when fully flat, forcing me to lie angled if I wanted both legs straight. I noticed this on the AC A330 1K as well. Did not have this issue on 2K however on either aircrafts.

Is this the case with AC 777/787s? I'm aware the footwell might be wider but that all means squat if the seat isn't aligned with the footwell.

I'm a very infrequent "J" flyer... but flew TATL on 788 & 789 this summer in 1K.
I had ZERO problems with the seat... (and chose it with some helpful advice on this forum) because I'm 6' 4"... I didn't note any slanted fuselage impingement, and the extra legroom length was pretty sweet... I can't compare to any other seat's legroom width. I had no discernible galley noise... and a great flight both directions.... and have rebooked 1K for both directions next summer.
