And in certain areas of the county (and yes it could be out of country I guess) fall, lik snoring, doesn't last long.

We know that big cities can allow for more attendance sometimes, as we've seen with YVR or YYZ, YYC and YUL.

But some of you made it out to YYT for a Do.

Most of us flew in for the YYJ Do recently. You all know that was awesome.

THAT is why we have not set a location.

Umm, FYI, the 401 runs East-West. So a location can be north or south
it. :)

I'd prefer north.

I've used the 401 in a clumsy/unusual way. But it can be East, if you say east of the Ontario/Quebec border :p

How about IPC?

It's all about the journey, right? Would undoubtedly go down as the most remote FT DO. There was a VIP airport lounge building when we were there...

While IPC is on my list for a near future visit it's a bit of a expensive and long trek for a do!

If it's ever in LAS, we can help out a bit with planning.

Though to keep it fun we would need to position ourselves somewhere..anywhere 2-3 stops away so that we can travel "to" the DO.

Maybe I'll route through LAS this time :)

Yeah, I feel kind cheated that I didn't make the YYJ Do (which have been my first) because of tour guide obligations. On the plus side, it was probably the shortest flight I could actually take out of YVR, so anything epic would be more in keeping with FT travel fun and games.

Venue - I vote for YYC and we turn this into the WS Do. Or we could try YUL and turn this into the AC Do.

I suspect WS might be more interested in hosting us, especially if we offer them the opportunity to get live feedback from a group of die-hard FFs.

If we're trying for an international Do, then we can go anywhere that doesn't require a visa since visas are a pain. A mistake fare to get there would be very useful too of course. :p

Yeah, I'm harshed I couldn't make the YYJ Do, it sounded awesome and would have been super convenient location-wise. Willing to burn some soon to be useless AE miles for this EPIC Do though!

I think AC should host us for this in YUL. Who has the best relationship with HQ and can propose this?

Won't happen.

Just to add suggestions for a potential do. YQB was mentioned above, that'd be nice.

Also has there ever been a YYG do? That'd be a pretty awesome summer one if people fancy the Maritimes! Epic do to celebrate Canada 150 in the birthplace of confederation?

Please come to the Maritimes, I'd like to meet you folks, never been to a do. YHZ, YQM, YYG, YFC, and YSJ are all within a 3 hour drive of my place.

All the non-YHZ locations in the Maritimes ex-YHZ are served by EVAS Beechcraft. Problem solved :D
