Standby and Upgrade List
 

Not sure if this should be in the Air Canada Android App thread as I would assumed this is also being added to the Apple version as well. Also, I expect we will have a lot of discussion about this going forward.

Got an notification that new AC App available for my BB Priv and it state the following under What's New:

It is showing them for all flights or just ones you're on?

So much for the "privacy concerns" which prevented implementation in the past.

Looks like legg and wet might be sitting next to each other.... Privacy would be worse if seat assignments were also presented.

Question is, only wait list or all upgrades? UA and DL do these differently... I disagree with UA showing all upgrades, since confirmed is confirmed and not subject to uncertainty any more than paid F/J.. DL only shows those under contention.... I love pushing the sole checkmark to #2 and unchecked last minute. :P

Who do I send in complaints to that my name is Listed as Pees? And that I'm being made fun of by fellow pax and the gate agents?

Ha! First thing I thought is mine will be BAND....which could be somewhat deflating for those down the list. ;)

What about Karen Fuccio? Will they even allow her or Tom Shimer on the lists?

Maybe it would make sense to use both lower and uppercase characters?

There are a lot more names that could show up on the list worse than yours. :p
