Well, being in first place/rank/position was fun while it lasted! Now I have to sit and watch my position keep dropping.

It stinks to be flying AC on tickets bought before the promo...despite sitting in 1A on a 789 longhaul for the 4th time this week.

I'm not sure how much you expect to drop. 208k isn't exactly a low score

I still want to know who the guy is who asked me if I was canadiancow in the YOW MLL bathroom.

Considering you started the other thread about this a week or so ago........

Yes, it is too much for AC staff

AC IT never ceases to amaze! This is good for Air Canada though, as they just used an IT glitch to defeat a potential strategic move from the players.
I guess AC did not want lose revenue if participants followed my strategy.

In EYW#4 Thread my post:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/23517976-post83.html

I posted AC like to pick up pennies & let the dollars go out through the door.

AC could make a killing with EYW if they did it creatively.

2.First Tango fares should not be eligible. .

Lowest should be Flex. Yes with Tango they have more participants does not

mean healthier bottomline.

Look @ other carriers United for example. Any Promo no bucket fares eligible. Participants fall over each other to take advantage of the promos. United is laughing all the way to the bank with fist full of dollar bills not bags of pennies

EWY#5 No Tango.

EWY#6 : No cancelling of bookings

They can still allow cancellations, just punish them with Double Scare and Decelerator Plus.

Funny, 2 weeks ago I asked the only agent working the YVR lounge if he could check me in to a flight the next morning. He started printing and printing and paged me to return shortly therafter. He was able to multitask rather than hold up any additional lounge entries.

Somehow he had managed to get me a Boarding Pass for my ELEVEN segments spanning two full days of travel...and which had a 7hr overnight at YQT. The east-coast lounges have only been able to check me in for segmemts leaving in T-12 or less. Or, if I alreary checked in online, T-24 or less.

I had one segment that was booked prior to the EYW deadline on a Tango fare(Business Travel). Air Canada did not reply back regarding my question on paying the difference from Tango to Flex on a later date and would it still be eligible for EYW. I took the $80 gamble today.

We will see if my YEG-YVR for tomorrow will count towards EYW.

Was hoping 30th place would be around 50k wings, but looks like it will be much higher. A lot of people doing July segment runs. 3 weeks of points yet to be entered.

Has anyone's cabin badges showed up? The_Phoenix and I should have 5 Rest Up badges so far, but we have none.

I see grandbend has 1, so clearly they are posting, but you'd think that would be much simpler to do than counting how many prairie badges I've earned.

P class YOW-YYZ. One badge. Done.
