Package came this week while I was away. It's pretty nice when you see it in the flesh. Feels like a step up from last year.

Yup. Got mine in YVR yesterday. I picked benefits in December as soon as I could. Didn't think the tags were as nice as before, but no worries. :-)

It would be more exciting if I actually had any flights booked... kinda shocks me that they wouldn't send yours already since you clearly don't have my problem with booked flights.

Maybe they're going alphabetically by FT handles...

Received mine...plastic seems thinner on the luggage tags plus they were pre-scratched

Nice look though

It's OK yyznomad--they are saving the best for last (MM 2MM and 3MM)
(maybe they are "enhancing" the benefits for us)

As I was unpacking my SE package my son looked at the tags and said "hey they are all scratched up". What's up with that??

I imagine, now again this is just me hypothesizing here
1- AE agent said there was a huge delay since begining of JAN(that was finally resolved on the 18th), I imagine it had something to do with this.
2 - Ultimately AE decided to send it anyway as more delay would likely make its SE customers even more unhappy than scratched tags.

Just a theory of mine by piecing together what I have heard.
As evident by last two weeks were almost exclusively SE packages being sent out. Suggest there was a buildup that was resolved just two weeks ago.

Which package you after, the 2016-17 or the 2017-18?

I have yet to receive my package.

Got my SE package last week (YVR address). Been busy this weekend... will shred it when I shred other stuff, clearly sent to me by mistake and wouldn't want to be accused of fraud. Nice red aircraft cable thingy... Computer cable tie?

Actually, I might put the tags on my garbage bins outside. Getting tired of neighbours "borrowing" my trash space. Not sour graping, just trying to reuse...
