Not sure if I'm gonna make it. I have bunch of travel left for the year, some of it on AC and UA.
Been trying hard all year.

I am Prestige this year, but will be basic in 2003.
I am now Gold, heading to PLatinum, with Northwest. I have enjoyed better service as Silver and now as Gold. From YXU it is just as easy to connect via DTW.
Although I am flying more this year, I find that I get full status miles with NW (even as Silver), and the bonus keep on coming.
Now that I will relocate in the USA, I am in good position to take advantage of my new found status with NW.

I suppose the slower telephone response for booking award flights might be a problem though.
Any way to buy _that_ for a couple of hundred bucks? he wondered, thinking it would be a good benefit to add to the MLL card in 2003.

Going for the basic. KLM pulled me away from Air Canada this year and NWA keeps upgrading me. No reason to fly Air Canada anymore since they I had terrible luck with those guys - "never upgraded".
