Priority check in
I'm wondering if I loose my elite status this year, dropping me to Prestige, can I still use priority check-in at United counters in the states? Or if not, can the Maple Leaf Club Card be used for this.
Priority check-in in the US is a big one for me. thx, TCF *The best upgrade is home. |
I am pretty sure Prestige and Maple Leaf Club Card only gets you J check-in at Air Canada operated airports.
I remember reading about some exceptions about P getting you J check-in at some airports in Europe. [Someone correct me if I'm wrong, my head is not too clear after flying so many days in a row!] |

And to the original poster, don't count on going from Elite to PRestige if you earn <18K, AC didn't do that this year.
Of course if you're flying >18K then you'll get Prestige. andrew |
Yeah, I'm at Prestige already this year, but I think I'm going to be about 3-5K short of Elite. Too much business in Western US this year.
Amazing, I feel like I'm always on an AC flight and I only have 20K status miles this year. The rules for flights within Canada are a killer. 800 Miles for Edmonton to Toronto. (38 hour drive) 500 for Chicago to Indianapolis (3 hour drive). -tcf *The best upgrade is home. |
