Another way to look at it is if you are flying over 300k Q-miles in a year, since when will you ever be on the ground at home long enough to drive anywhere?! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/tongue.gif

Maybe a stupid question but do you earn miles on the free ticket you get after 70K Q miles? Is that ticket avaible on all flights or only fligths with W class avaible? Can you choose whatever routing you like? Only one stopover?
I was just planing my future travel this year and for the moment it looks I will end this year with 61K Q miles, would it be worth to go the extra mile to get the ticket? The ticket says NA does that includes Hawaii or is it just continental US and Canada? |
Yeah, I know that this isn't completely honest, but can't you ticket the free N/A reward, and then return it to Aeroplan to get 25K miles?
kempis: I don't think that you get miles from the free ticket. |
The free ticket is like a standard 25k reward. Earns zip.
There once was such a bonus (Hawaii) where we could upgrade to J by using the extra miles from our accounts. Don't know of anyone successfully getting it into their acct. though. Dorian |
