IVR Problems

Has anyone else had the problem with aeroplan's IVR where the system will jump you out an operator while it is in the middle of listing your transactions? This seems to happen almost monthly with my account, as if there is a 'bad' transaction which it can't resolve until the statement is issued. Happens both for a telephone listing, and a faxed list (the latter right after it confirms that it is being sent - only it never arrives.)

Never had this problem...

I used the faxback a couple of times in the past few days and it arrived within 3 mins...

My faxes never, ever arrive and I often get bumped over to an agent while the listing is occurring. I sent a note to Aeroplan back in September and received a form note back thanking me for my concern blah blah, and they are working on it. I also asked for web based transaction listing in real time and we all know how far along they are on that!

Happens to me everytime I try the system. I no longer bother with it.

I have a suspected culprit for this...new partners. I recently had a Thrifty car rental that posted (apparently a miracle)yet the voice system quit when it got to that entry - an agent told me that the credit was from Thrifty. I did not ask if this was the cause for the system to stop listing at that transaction.

I've experienced that problem too.
