Thanks. Four days in a row I had gotten it just stuck there. Today it finally allowed me to add to the wallet and apply successfully.

I found the eVisa process difficult when I did mine 2 years ago and it appears to have not improved for some folks. I took me multiple attempts to get everything uploaded correctly for me and my wife including payment. Then, you had to wait for 24-48 h to see if you were approved. Even though I did mine about 18 h before my wife’s, she was approved in 6 h and I was about 12 h later. She got an email about her status but I never did. I actually had to log back in to see if I was approved. It was somewhat stressful as we were scheduled to leave in about 14 days. I printed the color copies out and brought with me.

The eVisa site then crashed a few days before our trip and the gov’t was allowing in person visas at the Nairobi airport. Despite actually having approved visas, it actually took us longer to get through immigration at Nairobi than those who just walked up and paid the $50. Very frustrating.

For NZ and AUS visas, they were done on-line and approved in about 10 minutes each and the info was referenced to our passports so that on arrival we spent about 5 minutes getting through immigration. No print outs or color copies to present.
