Aer Lingus check in errors

Looks like another bug in the Aer Lingus check in system. I have been trying to check in for a few flights all day and keep getting the below :

You can try checking in via the website if the app is not happy or vice versa

You can still pull the boarding card up in the app if you checked in via website

Have tried on the website on my desktop and still cant check in. Not sure if its due to specific route or random . Will try again in morning .

If you are heading to the US and selected for extra screening that can block online check in as far as I remember.

Yes I got that when trying to check in for CLE before but this is a different error . Its from London so no reason for it .

24 hours before I got an email to check in my seat was 1F and still showed in my booking but when boarding pass generated it said 1C !
Concierge line could do nothing . 24 hours later check in said everything full . Boarded flight 2 no shows 1EF and no one in 1A was ever booked. Seems Aer Lingus IT struck again .
