My question is what Business class will be on the A321neo/LR on transatlantic runs.

No that is not it . Thats the current livery which just looks different in that pic.

EI just posted this on Twitter confirming the prior announcements:
https://blog.aerlingus.com/presentin...-plan-to-date/

No definitive dates but AerClub was mentioned - I wonder what improvements/updates will be made...

I don't read it as an improvement in AerClub - though God knows it could do with one.

A new brand identity,
new uniforms,
dramatically increased marketing spend in North America,
a free social media wi-fi package, and
complimentary alcohol for all guests across the North Atlantic, combined with

improved mobile web,
Aer Club, and
self-service options

There have been a few recent statements about delivering Aer Club

They seem to have got the flights to register correctly now which is a start, the only honestly useful feature missing is seat selection

^ that and showing priority boarding + lounge access on the ticket itself rather than having to carry the card. Maybe larger text saying the AerClub status might improve things a little.

Agree seat selection for free would be great but I reckon it's such a good money earner for EI with elites that it's unlikely to happen. Free baggage allowance would also be a nice addition IMO. Not that I'd use it for work trips but personal trips with the other half it'd be great (especially as I fund those!).

I think the issue with having to carry the card is not the status simply showing on the BPs (which although small I agree, is shown, especially for lounge staff who know what to look for) but the fact that when the BP is scanned it does not include the FF number in the information so they ask for the card to swipe or read from. They need to log the number obviously to track usage and numbers. So the improvement here probably needs to be more technically IT related in their systems rather than a simple visual improvement.

Lifetime tier credits like BA have would be a great addition as well as a level above conceirge with additional benefits.

And the obvious link to Oneworld..

Noticed a few more interesting improvements raised by Kavanagh most noticeably included AerSpace (short-haul biz product), new NA halo investments and a new guest centric long haul service.https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ad7c8b18a7.png

It's the 2018 Capital Markets presentation:
IAG - International Airlines Group - Presentations

Curious as to know what they mean by North American Halo Improvements and new "guest centric long haul products"

OneWorld ain't happening. Willie Walsh has been clear that he does not see a future in that model. Not mention at all at this call and the last call in 2017 said they had not even made a business case for it.

Given that they can't get concierge as a level into the current system... that could be a challenge. Concierge has gotten much harder to achieve this year as most Y flights are saver garnering 1/4 tier points.
