I vote for the ability, if not necessity, of speaking with an agent to redeem miles. This is the personal touch that other carriers have eliminated through the use of technology. Delta IT remains a bulwark against this continual errosion of personalized service.

Since GUCs and RUCs replaced SWUs in February 2014, I'd propose editing the final choice to be "Systemwide Upgrades / Global Upgrades / Regional Upgrades"

Are SWU's equal to GUCs? So, as a PM, does one get 4 SWUs that can be used like GUCs or 2 SWUs? However while selecting my choice benefits recently, I only got the option of RUCs as a PM, not SWU.

DL no longer offers SWUs and they are not equivalent to GUCs or RUCs as SWUs have fare class requirements. They can also be used for flights after their expiration dates provided that the upgrade can be confirmed before they expire.
