Not so much a new opening but a rebrand, Mantra seem to be growing significantly as a brand, pity their ALL participation has poor points earning!
Mantra has continued its regional expansion in Queensland, rebranding a property in Gladstone on the state’s Capricorn Coast right on the doorstep of the lower Great Barrier Reef. Prior to rebranding, the 60-room hotel underwent a transformation to 33 of its guestrooms, which were converted into open-plan self-contained apartments in line with Mantra style. The new Mantra Gladstone is located adjacent to the Yaralla Sports Club and features a fitness centre, a number of food and beverage options and will soon debut a new swimming pool....... Mantra has been on a steady expansion trajectory over the past few years, opening nearly a half dozen new locations in metropolitan and regional parts of Australia including Epping, Mackay, Melton, Traralgon and Albury. Formerly operated under the Mercure brand, I am a regular there. |

I was looking for a hotel in Dubai, and noticed this hotel has appeared on the Accor website the last couple of days.

Raffles at Galaxy Macau in 2H 2021
The Raffles at Galaxy Macau will have 450 suites and open in the 2nd half of 2021. Looks like a good addition to Macau especially since Banyan Tree Macau is on the exception list of ALL.

Berkeley Park MGallery, Miami Beach
Accor is bringing its MGallery Hotel Collection to Florida for the first time with the opening of the Berkeley Park Hotel in Miami Beach on April 1. Formerly the Sadigo Court Hotel, the property is located near Collins Park, offering quick access to nearby sites like the Miami Beach Botanical Garden, the Bass museum and the Miami Beach Convention Center. The hotel, which is fresh off of an $18 million renovation, comprises 80 guestrooms, all of which have been modernized and outfitted with wood decor elements, brass finishes and floor-to-ceiling windows. The rooms look exceedingly dull IMHO. |

if they acquire another hotel chain, it is usually not wise to change the names of all hotels to an existing Accor brand... |
MGallery Split (Croatia) - Heritage Hotel FERMAI

A new MGallery hotel is about to open in Split, Croatia in an historical buiding. It will be a small hotel : 35 rooms. https://press.accor.com/continental-...split/?lang=en Heritage Hotel FERMAI will open in May 2021 and join the MGallery Hotel Collection in July 2021. It will be a peaceful oasis in the bustling heart of Split, offering 35 luxurious and modern rooms, Café FERMAI and a garden terrace. The hotel will join MGallery’s international collection of boutique hotels following franchise agreement between the world leading hospitality group Accor and Quatro Company. But a very good news of course to have this new beautiful hotel joining the MGallery brand. |
Wow, this is great news! Finally, another Accor hotel in Croatia! And much closer and easier for me to get to than the Rixos in Dubrovnik. :)
