A new Le Club Accorhotels mobile application: share your thoughts!

The Le Club Accorhotels technical teams are currently working on the development of a new mobile application.

As its purpose is to better serve you, I invite you all to tell me what you would like to find in this application.

Like the ability to book more than one room?

Nathan,

Maybe you can be more specfic, is this an application for the management of the Le Club programme as well as booking?

If so here are some intial ideas:

- ability to book rooms by spending points
- overview of all future and past reservations
- overview of Le Club account statement (and include number of nights spent as this appears nowhere at the moment)
- Request retro-credits by just using the booking number
- ability to store customer preference (high room, smoking room, newspaper)
- online check in (where possible)
- replace "FB places app" with location based check in (using FourSquare, not FB)
- iOS passbook integration for reservations (and membership card)
- location based information for hotel neighborhood (restaurants etc.)
- integrated Google maps for directions to the hotel
- iphone and iPad version!

Might be able to think of more later.... :D

That's a lot to ask for :) I would hope they would want to sort out simple things like being able to book more than one room on the app (quite ridiculous not being able to), and sync with the reservations I made on desktop and not give me message like "No booking has been made with the app, from this mobile phone".

+1. That's one of the weakest point of the current apps.

Otherwise, among ideas given by Starflyergold, the most important for me are :

The current Android app is completely useless, to be honest, as it has zero integration with my Le Club profile. That's the basic thing that needs to be added. Other than that, it's simple - take a look at Starwood's app and try to add as much of their functionality as possible :D

InterContinental hotels' app is a good benchmark:
- Easy to use
- Reservation in just 3 clicks
- Priority Club number in memory (no need to re-enter it, credit cards information memorized)
- Pictures of the hotel (used to be the case with Accor, but no more now)
- Phone number of the hotel (and ability to call the hotel by clicking on the number)
- Account information (points, etc.)
- Special offer (restaurant, spa discount)
- Rewards stay reservation

As Air France app:
Ability to see next reservations, even in plane mode

Map, with link to Google map to have direction from where we are located

Liking that idea, localised offers, when at the hotel offer pop up for bar/restaurant/spa discounts ^

Ability to synchronize next reservations with personal organizer(possible with the internet version of ihg.com with Outlook organizer)

Also consider integration with tripit.

For an ipad version an electronic concierge and room service ordering would be nice

It would like to see my Leclub points and easily report missing points on an app.
After difficulties in using facebook Places (always seem to get different error messages), it would be great if the app could make using facebook Places easier.
