Having just spent the weekend there I will tell you its a dreadful place. It's like being in some sort of English version of what a beach resort circa 1950 would look like.

If you are going for the beach then they are OK certainly nothing to write home about. I ended up going to Granada for the day and enjoyed that alot more, and don't worry the culture vultures down in Torremolinos don't venture much past the beach so you won't run into any "British Supermercado" up there. Nice town too.
