I'm 6'2" and I can handle Row 1 for flights up to 2 hours. I wouldn't want to try and do HI in R1, though. I can cross my legs and stretch them a bit, so that makes it better then 1CD on the 757 where my knees darn near touch the wall with my feet flat to the floor.

As for Row 6, I think the wall is flat (without the angled upper half), so that would indeed affect recline.
