I didn't want to lose the $20 corkscrew (it has a nice feel) so I checked the bag.
corkscrews are allowed in both carry-on and checked bags (search for "screw" ), but your are screwed if the corkscrew has a blade on it. you must check it or be considered a wine/whine ter'wrist
