As of 15 minutes ago she had still not quite grasped the fact that matches (especially these matches) are considered too flammable to go in the hold of a plane. Security (or its lack) at MRS is beside the point, as that's her arrival airport. If she does undergo security screening en route it will be at CDG. I've no idea whether matches would likely be detected in her checked luggage at any point during the trip, but given that the issue is the very definition of frivolous I'm hardly going to encourage her to pack them.
