I agree--room types are not guaranteed. And prices do fluctuate and change by the minute.

But the issue is that the price I selected was increased without any warning or recourse. I couldn't cancel. I was forced to pay the higher rate with no exceptions or wiggle room. Zero.

I suppose I could have not gone and disputed the charge on my credit card, but then that would have ruined my weekend.
