I think picking a resort in the Warms Sands area is a balancing act between the scene you want and the quality of the resort/accomodations. We have stayed at the Inndulge for several years because they offer a good mix of both. I have commented on the Inndulge in past threads so I won't go into details here but overall we chose to stay there because of the friendly staff, decent rooms, beautiful pool, lush landscaping and the nice mix of guests. I would not consider the Inndulge to be cruisy (even though things can and do happen there) so if that is on the top of your criteria I would look elsewhere!

During our stays, I have noticed that only 2-3 of the resorts in the area seem to have any cars in front of them midweek. It seems like only the Inndulge, Inn Exile (which is all concrete and has absolutely NO grass or landscaping) and the Vista Grande/Mirage seem to have decent midweek occupancy rates. With the Vista Grande/Mirage it is difficult to gauge because of the day pass thing but the other resorts seem to be dead during the week. We had friends stay at the Warm Sands Villas once when they couldn't get into the Inndulge with us and they said the place was dead during the week so they came over to our pool.

Why not try two different resorts during your stay? Try the more layed back atmosphere at the Inndulge without the cruise factor during the week and then head over to one of the other places for a busy weekend.

Probably didn't help much with the decision. If you have more questions and feel more comfortable writing in german...send me a PM. ICH SPRECHE DEUTSCH!
