I guess a lot of it is simply that I'm usually at NRT because I'm flying to London or New York (so during a timeframe when intercontinental flights to Europe or the Americas are departing) and doing so at a time that gets me to my destination such that I can get one night's sleep before heading into the office (like a lot of holiday-makers).
