I'd love to know about how to upgrade on SAA as well.
I've got more than enough miles, traveling on SAA 208 (IAD->DKR->JNB) in Q on the way there and V on the way back. Information on the UA website is scant at best. Do I call SAA or do I have to wait until I get to IAD and try at the gate ?
