I noticed that two pots were moved to center of the room by the window.

The CL staff at the Renaissance Montura does a pretty good job of restocking the food. I am not a big croissant fan, but I have yet to walk in for breakfast or dessert when they were not bringing out stuff until near the end of the serving time.
That's my experience too.
BTW, Renaissance Montura is by far my favorite LAX hotel.
