Only to find they cannot lift it high enough. Or that they are too short. Or that the 12" wide space up there cannot accomodate their bag. Or that their bag stuffed with a weeks worth of Cosmo, Camping Gear, or Cognac is two inches too tall to fit in the OH bin.
This is my biggest pet peeve. Everything else I kind of can roll my eyes and think to myself "infrequent flyer". But the too large roller just gets my goat. The FA's should not allow them on the plane in the first place!
I got nailed with someone's roller when it was so heavy they couldn't lift it into the overhead bin and it came crashing down on me, broke my glasses, broke blood vessels in my eye and gave me a shiner that lasted my whole vacation. Thankfully I had a spare pair of glasses. And the guy who's roller it was, got mad at me for being in the way........ I was seated and he was trying to put his roller in a first class bin while he was sitting back in coach.
