Wardman Park is a Cat. 5. I prefer the Marriott Key Bridge which is also a Cat. 5. They treat Gold/Plats well including free breakfast on the weekend. It is close to the Blue and Orange Metro Lines, and a shuttle across the bridge to Georgetown stops in the hotel driveway every 15 minutes.
