I just got back in from staying there last week. Its a fairly nice hotel. I always have found the lounge to be nice. They have a nice food selection and of course free drinks at night. Also, it stays open until midnight. The hotel itself isn't super close to the subway (actually the S-bahn). It is about a 15-20 minute walk, 5 minute drive or 6 Euro taxi ride. The taxi ride will take you to the Bobligen (Yeah, I can't spell) stop as it has more taxi's for the return trip. The closest station is the Goldberg stop (thats the one that you would walk or drive to). You of course have to pay for parking at the station. The train ride is about 15-20 minutes into the downtown train station. I don't know where the convention center is, so I can't comment on that.

The hotel itself usually has a lot of Americans staying at it, as it is close to a military base and many people PCS'ing (transferring) stay at that hotel. The staff is always overly nice and they all speak English. The resturaunt is fairly good, but pricey mainly due to the Euro-Dollar. I stay there once a year for about a week and find it a suitable place.
