Thanks for the great post!

Exceptional treatment and concern by United employees coupled with a strong loyalty program is what has kept me loyal to United over the years.

But please keep in mind that what you might consider "ME ME ME" may be constructive to keeping employees employed and the airline in business.

Because a happy customer is just good for business.

I think that when the majority of FlyerTalkers complain of bad service or a cutback in loyalty benefits, they aren't always doing it just for themselves. They genuinely feel that bad business decisions could hurt their favorite airline.

Many, many good friends of mine at United have been laid off. And I believe much of that has to do with bad business decisions on the part of United management. If I really care about my airline, I consider it my responsibility to opinion when I think they have made a mistake. Not just for my benefit, but for United's general health and continued business.

And hopefully many more Million Mile Flyers in the years to come!
